If your learning contract recommends extended library loans you will be able to borrow library books for 2 weeks. You don't have to ask for this, it will happen automatically when you borrow a book.
At the end of your 2 week loan the book will auto-renew for another 2 weeks unless another student has asked for it. This will continue for a maximum of 52 weeks.
If another student has asked for the book, you will have 5 days to return it to the library. If the book is returned after 5 days, you will be fined £2 per day.
This recommendation does not apply to e-books.
